UNICAL honours FCT Minister Nyesom Wike with Honorary Doctorate in Law

The University of Calabar has conferred an Honorary Doctorate in Law on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

The prestigious recognition was presented by the University’s Chancellor, Emir Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, during a convocation and 50th anniversary of the institution held at the university’s conference center.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the, Deputy Governor of the State, Mr , The Senate President Godswill Akpabio and his wife, who was also honored with a doctorate degree.

Lawmakers including Sen. Asuquo Ekpeyong, Senate Leader Bamidele Opeyemi, and others were also present to grace the occasion.
