Tension as gunnmen kill three Policemen at Enugu checkpoint

Unknown gunmen have reportedly killed at least three police officers at a checkpoint in Achi, located in Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The tragic incident, which occurred near the Ozudaa Market in Achi, has sent shockwaves across the local community.

According to information gathered by TheDay Nigeria, details surrounding the attack are still unclear, and efforts to get an official response from the Enugu State Police Command have been unsuccessful. The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Daniel Ndukwe, was unreachable as of the time of reporting.

However, a disturbing video making rounds on social media shows the lifeless bodies of the officers, confirming the gruesome nature of the attack.
