BREAKING: PDP Governor, Umo Eno endorses Tinubu for second term

Despite being a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Akwa Ibom State governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has expressed support for President Bola Tinubu to complete two terms in office, totalling eight years.

Governor Eno, who was elected under the PDP platform in 2023, made this statement during the flag-off ceremony of the Akwa Ibom segment of the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway project held on Tuesday afternoon.

According to him, President Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will remain in power for two terms, a comment that signals a shift from his party’s ambition to reclaim power at the federal level come 2027.
