Chelsea comes from behind to share point against Ipswich 2-2 in thriller

Chelsea staged a spirited fightback from two goals down but ultimately had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Ipswich Town at Stamford Bridge, a result that significantly hampers their hopes of securing a UEFA Champions League spot next season.
Ipswich stunned the home crowd early, with Julio Enciso netting his first goal for the club in the 19th minute, courtesy of a precise pass from Ben Johnson.
The provider turned scorer in the 31st minute, as Johnson headed home from an Enciso cross to double the visitors’ lead.
The Blues responded swiftly after the break, as Axel Tuanzebe inadvertently turned Noni Madueke’s low cross into his own net just 20 seconds into the second half.
Booed by fans when he came on as a substitute, Jadon Sancho rescued Chelsea in the 79th minute as he curled into the top corner before celebrating by pointing at his name on the back of his shirt.
Chelsea are up to fifth place, but Newcastle would knock them out of the final Champions League qualification berth if they beat Manchester United at St James’ Park later on Sunday.
