2027: Gudaji Kazaure visits Atiku, discusses national affairs

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar hosted Hon. Gudaji Kazaure, a member of the House of Representatives, at his residence last night, sparking fresh speculations about ongoing political realignments ahead of the 2027 elections.

Atiku, who was the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, shared details of the meeting on his Facebook page, describing it as a productive discussion on national issues and a shared vision for a better Nigeria.

“Last night, I had the pleasure of receiving Hon. Gudaji Kazaure at my residence. We had insightful discussions on matters of national importance and our shared commitment to a better Nigeria,” Atiku wrote.

Hon. Kazaure represents the Kazaure, Roni, Gwiwa, and Yankwashi Constituency of Jigawa State in the House of Representatives.

Although the specifics of the meeting remain undisclosed, it comes at a time when Atiku is rumored to be engaging in coalition talks with other opposition figures, including Peter Obi and Nasir El-Rufai, in a bid to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
