2026 WCQ: Zimbabwe arrives Uyo ahead of Super Eagles match

Players and officials of the Zimbabwe national football team have arrived in Nigeria ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture against the Super Eagles on Tuesday.
The Zimbabwean delegation landed at the Victor Attah International Airport, where they were received by officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Currently sitting at the bottom of Group C, Zimbabwe has managed just three points from five matches.
The Super Eagles arrived back in the country earlier in the day, following a 2-0 win in Rwanda on Friday.
Eric Chelle’s men have moved into the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Ikot Ekpene, where they will be lodging.
The Eagles are expected to have a training session at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Sunday.
