Naftali Bennett accuses Netanyahu of ‘Outright Treason’ over alleged Qatari infiltration

Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has accused Benjamin Netanyahu of “outright treason” for opposing an investigation into claims that Qatari operatives have infiltrated the Prime Minister’s Office.
Bennett’s remarks come after Netanyahu’s former spokesman, Eli Feldstein, was indicted for allegedly leaking classified Israeli military documents while working for an international company that promoted pro-Qatar narratives in Israeli media.
Speaking on the matter, Bennett said, “The Prime Minister’s Office is Israel’s most sensitive security hub. If these actions were done knowingly, it’s outright treason. If unknowingly, it means Qatar has infiltrated Israel’s leadership.”
He further accused Netanyahu of losing the moral authority to lead, questioning how Israelis could trust a government where “spies funded by Israel’s enemies” operate within its highest office.
Expressing his disbelief, Bennett added, “I’ll say it again because it’s so hard to fathom: The terrorist government of Qatar financed the security spokesman of the Israeli prime minister, during wartime.”
Netanyahu has yet to publicly respond to the allegations.
