NPF launches N5.5m Tricycle Loan Scheme for Personnel

The Nigeria Police Force has introduced Bulk Stalker Engineering Limited to its personnel as part of a welfare initiative launched by the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.
A police wireless message dated March 12, 2025, issued by the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of the Police Cooperative Society in Lagos, informed all departments, commands, and units through the Nigeria Police Cooperative Multi-Purpose Society Ltd. about the development.
According to the directive, the company will supply tricycle trucks, trike pick-ups, TTI single cabins, tricycle taxis (TP7), and Trika ambulances to interested police officers on loan at a cost of ₦5.5 million each. The repayment plan will involve monthly deductions of ₦90,000 over a period of 60 months, with the amount deducted directly from recipients’ salaries via IPPIS.
The notice further stated that application forms will be made available at all police cooperative shops for interested officers.
Tricycles, popularly known as “Keke”, serve as a key mode of commercial transportation across Nigeria.
This initiative aims to provide police personnel with an alternative source of income and enhance their financial stability.
