Dr. Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor and the 2023 Lagos State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), recently held a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at Aso Rock, Abuja.

The visit marks a crucial step in his ongoing political realignment following his resignation from the PDP.

Jandor, who has been actively engaging in high-level political consultations, previously met with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former President Ibrahim Babangida, former Head of State Gen. Abdusalami Abubakar, and 2023 SDP presidential candidate, Prince Adewole Adebayo.

Confirming the development, Jandor’s spokesperson, Gbenga Ogunleye, described the meeting with Tinubu as part of broader discussions on the nation’s political landscape.

>“Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (Jandor) met with President Bola Tinubu on Monday as part of his ongoing consultations. Key national leaders, including the president himself, have shown interest in his next political move,” Ogunleye stated.

He further revealed that Jandor would be meeting with his political associates and key stakeholders in Lagos over the weekend, with plans to address the media on Monday, March 17, 2025.

Jandor had announced his exit from the PDP, citing internal crises, indiscipline, and alleged anti-party activities that undermined his governorship ambitions.

He specifically accused PDP chieftain Chief Bode George of influencing party decisions that negatively impacted his campaign.
