Real reason I visited Gov Bala Mohammed in Bauchi – Peter Obi

Former Anambra State Governor and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has revealed the reason behind his recent visit to Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed.

Speaking during the visit, Obi stated that his discussion with the governor focused on reducing poverty, tackling hunger, and improving education and healthcare in the region.

“We need to discuss hunger. We need to discuss poverty. We need to discuss education.”

“We need to discuss health. What concerns the people should be the priority of the political class,” he said.

ThisDay Nigeria reports that Obi has continued his advocacy for economic reforms and social welfare policies even after losing the 2023 Presidential election.
