Tinubu hosts Govs, Ministers, top officials for Iftar at Aso Villa

President Bola Tinubu is currently hosting an Iftar dinner at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, bringing together key political figures, including Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara and his estranged godfather, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
Also in attendance are governors, ministers, and top government officials.
The breaking of fast with governors, ministers, heads of ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs), as well as security chiefs, is an annual tradition observed by the President during Ramadan.
Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and members of the Federal Executive Council were also present at the gathering.
Several state governors joined the Iftar, including Alex Otti (Abia), Umo Eno (Akwa Ibom), Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), Babagana Zulum (Borno), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Monday Okpebholo (Edo), Muhammad Yahaya (Gombe), Umar Namadi (Jigawa), and Uba Sani (Kaduna).
Others in attendance were Abba Kabir Yusuf (Kano), Nasir Idris (Kebbi), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Mohammed Bago (Niger), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), Douye Diri (Bayelsa), and Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi).
Key government agency heads also participated in the event, including Professor Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammad, Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria; Sylvester Ndidi Nwakuche, Acting Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service; Jaji Abdulganiyu, Comptroller General of the Federal Fire Service; and Bashir Adeniyi, Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service.
Additionally, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, Farouk Ahmed, were present.
