PSG thrash Rennes 4-1 as Dembele shines ahead of Liverpool UCL clash

Paris Saint-Germain continued their dominance in Ligue 1 with a convincing 4-1 win over Rennes on Saturday, as Ousmane Dembele netted twice in stoppage time.

The victory serves as a major boost ahead of their crucial Champions League last-16 second-leg clash against Liverpool.

Bradley Barcola and Goncalo Ramos put PSG 2-0 ahead before Rennes’ Lilian Brassier pulled one back. However, Dembele’s late brace sealed an emphatic win, extending PSG’s unbeaten domestic run this season and pushing them 16 points clear at the top of the table.

Despite resting key players, PSG’s coach Luis Enrique expressed confidence ahead of the Anfield showdown. “We are in perfect condition to go and take on Liverpool. We have nothing to lose and we will give everything to try to qualify,” he said.
